<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi everyone,</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Recently I have been receiving letters from some pen pals. Some that my friends and I had received were really creative and so inspired us to jazz up our own. So I thought I'd share exactly how I made my letter, please note that I am not a card maker so I was quite a novice at this! </div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly the dress was made using origami and some pink scrapbooking paper that I had left. <a href="http://www.inklingsandyarns.com/2012/06/origami-dress-tutorial/" target="_blank">Instructions can be found here!</a> The mini hanger that was attached to the dress was created using a paper clip, anyone that is on Pinterest may have already seen this pin;</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.agusyornet.com/2013/11/mini-hangers.html" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img alt="http://www.agusyornet.com/2013/11/mini-hangers.html" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IUyEEM-pQY0/VPsdAS9w1UI/AAAAAAAABKs/eJMm6_n9nLs/s1600/71661e6c5d003024063b53a5d94ea96d.jpg" height="200" width="132" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The main letter/card was also made with scrapbooking card that I cut down to size using scissors and folding in half. Washi tape was applied along the top edge of the card. I used picmonkey.com to create and print out the heading, and odd embellishments to finish off the letter. I then glued my main letter into the centre of my card and Voila! </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Hay1O6s_wuk/VPsUlCEDdGI/AAAAAAAABKU/9UntuoCtgvo/s200/blogger-image-1925446908.jpg" width="138" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this really quick post, sorry it was a bit short! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing and as they say in French...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Au revoir!!x</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi everyone! I'm here with a new tutorial, a mini jewellery chest. After a good hunt around my local Hobby Craft I bought a few things ready for this little project of mine;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- A Paper Mache Chest,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Decopatch Paper of my choice,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Decopatch Glue,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Paint Brush,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
-Lace/ribbon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ll6R77O3gnA/VOCELUrCW2I/AAAAAAAABJY/AZC8qyyD65Y/s640/blogger-image-1749967450.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ll6R77O3gnA/VOCELUrCW2I/AAAAAAAABJY/AZC8qyyD65Y/s200/blogger-image-1749967450.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly, I coated an area of my chest in decopatch glue, and tore my paper into small squares (your can also cut if you want to be precise, but the overall finish in no different).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-gJUrIpdAuXw/VOCEF6-Cf2I/AAAAAAAABJA/ANXMCvGmP1U/s640/blogger-image--348829152.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-gJUrIpdAuXw/VOCEF6-Cf2I/AAAAAAAABJA/ANXMCvGmP1U/s200/blogger-image--348829152.jpg" width="200" /></a><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jA8jpPBqTOA/VOCEO9ap9mI/AAAAAAAABJo/yw5O05Tpj0M/s640/blogger-image-417579595.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jA8jpPBqTOA/VOCEO9ap9mI/AAAAAAAABJo/yw5O05Tpj0M/s200/blogger-image-417579595.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Then I applied my paper square and added another layer of glue on top using the brush to smooth out any corners/ edges.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I continued to 'decopatch' all over my object until it was completely covered in paper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0kL86dBQoTI/VOCEJvW8euI/AAAAAAAABJQ/Tvipa9wgMFk/s640/blogger-image--1986988199.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="199" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0kL86dBQoTI/VOCEJvW8euI/AAAAAAAABJQ/Tvipa9wgMFk/s200/blogger-image--1986988199.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally, decorate how ever you want. I added a lace border and bow to the front!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this quick DIY tutorial, remember to follow me via my social media links and comment if you liked this post- it's really appreciated! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! :) x</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First pin, a hand painted globe I am in absolute love with these! Why has no one done this before, think I might need to try a DIY one my self. Their vintage flair and elegant designs are so beautiful, imagine placing one of these on your bookshelf! These are available at anthropologie (click the image to find the original link).</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Secondly, I'm in love with this henna patterned canvas in blue. A lot of my inspiration comes from these types of Indian patterns, as they're stunning and delicately detailed. The great thing about this idea is that by using acrylic paint on canvas you could use any colours or patterns you wish. This image is linked to etsy.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
String Art has been something on my DIY to-try list for a while, they take quite a while to do but the results are incredible. For those of you who have not come across string art, the idea is that you pin nails to a wooden board in a specific design/pattern and intertwine coloured string/thread around the nails in order to create your wall decoration.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this post sorry it didn't have many ideas in, these are just the ones that make me very, very excited and inspired- there are plenty more unique ideas around the interweb so be sure to check some out! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! Enjoy! :) x</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-W9WHZWF3kWg/VM45Mq6_hfI/AAAAAAAABHQ/xPyLwEh-h_k/s640/blogger-image--1794218038.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-W9WHZWF3kWg/VM45Mq6_hfI/AAAAAAAABHQ/xPyLwEh-h_k/s320/blogger-image--1794218038.jpg" width="243" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello internet lovelies! I've got another drawing tutorial this week; braids. So, like always, before we begin gather up a few things;</div>
<ul>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Pencil (HB will do for now),</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Set of colour pencils (ensure the set includes a range of brown shades),</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Rubber,</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Sharpener,</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Good quality paper/ Sketch pad.</div>
</li>
</ul>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Ckgawqp0_JE/VM45LNqTduI/AAAAAAAABHI/yabxiHplgQU/s640/blogger-image--522224346.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Ckgawqp0_JE/VM45LNqTduI/AAAAAAAABHI/yabxiHplgQU/s200/blogger-image--522224346.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
(Click to enlarge images)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly, I have no idea why this image is so dark yet the rest are fine- sorry. Anyway, lightly draw or sketch a line around a similar length to what you would like your braid drawing to be. Begin to draw leaf shapes from this central line (See image above) on both sides. These will be your basic outlines for shading and adding tone. Continue to draw these down the original line, becoming slightly small each time.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-imAmN9_uQEs/VM45GDV7ouI/AAAAAAAABGw/W-tyFM0cqmc/s640/blogger-image-1218751990.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-imAmN9_uQEs/VM45GDV7ouI/AAAAAAAABGw/W-tyFM0cqmc/s200/blogger-image-1218751990.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finish off your basic sketch by drawing a bobble and hair at the end. Take the following coloured pencils ready to begin adding tone; medium brown, dark brown, reddish brown and black. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Use the medium brown to add a base tone to the plait/braid, ensure that the tone is darker at the corners; do this by pressing harder on the pencil and <strong><em>shading in the direction of the hair</em></strong> (It's a good idea to look at an image for this).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next apply the dark brown ONLY around the darker areas of tone, again using shading to mimic the direction of the hair.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-4tGybtMiAFQ/VM45P44e6VI/AAAAAAAABHg/1iONQqsi8Jg/s640/blogger-image-958538761.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-4tGybtMiAFQ/VM45P44e6VI/AAAAAAAABHg/1iONQqsi8Jg/s200/blogger-image-958538761.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then, use the reddish brown and shade the area where the dark and medium brown tones meet. This will add new colour into the braid and reduce the overall saturation.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next add the black, shade only in the very darkest places and use this colour with caution. Too much black is hard to undo with a rubber! Add the black in the corners and around the edges. Continue to shade each plait individually until it looks like this:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-5CxKfKBzT7M/VM45ORM1RtI/AAAAAAAABHY/EqksGZGcSfc/s640/blogger-image-1964119884.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-5CxKfKBzT7M/VM45ORM1RtI/AAAAAAAABHY/EqksGZGcSfc/s200/blogger-image-1964119884.jpg" width="149" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And, VOILA! You've drawn yourself a realistic looking plait in around 20 minutes!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Why not experiment with more exotic colours?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Ta587YSJP54/VM45H_LZVmI/AAAAAAAABG4/2-GN-Zj7UvA/s200/blogger-image-1495125147.jpg" width="153" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this weeks quick tutorial! Please share and follow me on my social media, the support really is appreciated! :) x</div>

<div align="center">

<div align="center">
<u>My Answers</u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<em>1. what’s your favourite book character?</em></div>
Recently I've been quite into the Divergent Trilogy of books, and personally I think that they're better than The Hunger Games (Impossible, I know!); so for that reason I have to say Beatrice Prior!<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<em><br /> 2. Where have you last been on holiday?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Last time I was on holiday, I visited Belgium to commemorate the fallen of WW1 and the centenary of the war.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 3. What’s your favourite object in your room?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My ring holder- its in the shape of a shoe and I love where it sits on my dressing table.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 4. What’s the thing you like most about blogging?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I love the fact that blogging allows you to record your hobbies and passions in one place, and in doing so you are inspiring others too!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 5. If you could collaborate with any blog, which one would you choose?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It would have to be A Beautiful Mess, their craft ideas and tutorials are really inspirational. But then again, who wouldn't want to collaborate with Zoella or A Sprinkle of Glitter?!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 6. Book, movie or TV series?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
As much as I love all three, I love seeing books being made into film adaptations and seeing how other people imagine that same story.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 7. Which advice would you give to your 13-year-old self?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The hard work will pay off eventually, but don't forget to set aside time to do what you love.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 8. What’s your favourite ice-cream flavour?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream is just irresistible- Especially when you have it at the cinema!<br />
<br />
<em> 9. What’s your dream job?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My dream job is probably my future aspiration. Unfortunately its hush hush as I've kept it secret and my friends are trying to find out what it is. (Thought you'd found it Charl.....sorry! :D )</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 10. What’s your favourite artwork?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Probably Brian Scott's or Bec Winnel's- I love their artwork.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<em> 11. Train, plane, car or bicycle?</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Plane, you can travel anywhere around the world!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JXM172B8JkY/VLvnGezAP7I/AAAAAAAABE0/cNl8OIAc0FY/s640/blogger-image--170447478.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JXM172B8JkY/VLvnGezAP7I/AAAAAAAABE0/cNl8OIAc0FY/s320/blogger-image--170447478.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
Hi internet friends! Today I'm here with a new drawing tutorial..... How to draw an eye! So first things first, you will need a few pieces of equipment (obviously some are optional):</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
-Colour Pencils,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
-Small Blending Stump (could use cotton wool bud or even a tissue),</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
-Sharpener,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
-Rubber (for any mistakes),</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
-Good Quality Sketching Paper,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
-Electric Rubber (Also optional, used for highlighting),</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
-Image Reference.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-JSmlflm2ojA/VLvnEk2gWkI/AAAAAAAABEs/0_8WmyNBYk4/s640/blogger-image-168533634.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="199" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-JSmlflm2ojA/VLvnEk2gWkI/AAAAAAAABEs/0_8WmyNBYk4/s200/blogger-image-168533634.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
To begin, draw a light, basic sketch of an eye. Remember the corner, water line and eye lid (1).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Take your peach (skin colour) pencil and go back over the vague pencil outline (2).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Take the pink and colour the corner; add darker tones around the edges by adding more pressure. Then take a dark brown and again, draw around the basic outline. Use to darken the pink, begin adding tone to the top edge of the corner of the eye (3).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Next, use the dark brown (or blue, green etc. for different eye colours), and shade the iris. Utilise the black pencil to colour the pupil, do this in a circular motion for best results (4).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xEfbG_u2QC8/VLvnIP4fm_I/AAAAAAAABE8/jzO_-bEpbmQ/s640/blogger-image-140376893.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xEfbG_u2QC8/VLvnIP4fm_I/AAAAAAAABE8/jzO_-bEpbmQ/s200/blogger-image-140376893.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
After that use a blending stump (or cotton wool bud) to blend the brown in the iris, so that there is no white from the paper, and is a good base to begin with (5).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Take your black pencil and shade from the outside of the iris. (The very edge should be dark and then gradually fade into about half way of the radius.) Use both your green and black pencil to add details into the eye, by drawing quick lines from the pupil of the eye (6).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Next, use your electric rubber and add realistic highlights; look to your image for reference. Also, take a light blue pencil and shade the edges of your eye- this will give dimension to the eye ball itself(7).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
After that, take a pink, purple and dark brown. Use these colours to add tone around the outside of the eye. Use the pink under the eye and the brown and purple on the eye lid. Darker tones should be situated close to lines and then blended out (8).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-tjTjXzys4vY/VLvnCjJLQXI/AAAAAAAABEk/n9kqlZWRBxc/s640/blogger-image--457428849.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-tjTjXzys4vY/VLvnCjJLQXI/AAAAAAAABEk/n9kqlZWRBxc/s200/blogger-image--457428849.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally, use a sharp black pencil and redraw the basic outline of the eye. Add eyelashes by using angled strokes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial! Please comment, share and follow me on my social media- it's much appreciated! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! :) x</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi internet lovelies! In this post I'm going to share a few hints and tips that I've learnt over the 6 months that I have been blogging (wow, that time has flown by), and seeing as this was my 50th post- it seemed fitting. I know that this isn't really a usual post from me, which is why I'm posting this in the middle of the week, anyway lets begin: </div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-v5fNwWhxT-k/VK1svbvNpxI/AAAAAAAABDw/QbFbUnC2Uvc/s640/blogger-image--927512269.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-v5fNwWhxT-k/VK1svbvNpxI/AAAAAAAABDw/QbFbUnC2Uvc/s200/blogger-image--927512269.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
(<em>Yes these are from my blog notebook, maybe I'll do some of these in the future;</em>)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><em></em></strong> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
1.<strong><em> Content; </em></strong>Your content is the most important part of your blog, if your content is: a. informative and well executed, b. easy to read, c. engaging, and d. contains good grammar your onto a good start. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Good posts also contain media in order to separate long text and make your blog more visually appealing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ensure that you post regularly- that could be daily or weekly. Maybe set aside a specific day so your readers know when to check for new posts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-1Sz2JKNeGR8/VK1stoDJApI/AAAAAAAABDo/SwHGFiH5HAE/s640/blogger-image-1387331454.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-1Sz2JKNeGR8/VK1stoDJApI/AAAAAAAABDo/SwHGFiH5HAE/s200/blogger-image-1387331454.jpg" width="133" /></a><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-cRhXYhJoGD4/VK1sxNQ6fUI/AAAAAAAABD4/7PXqveTWnRs/s200/blogger-image--495364548.jpg" width="133" /></div>
<br />
2.<em><strong> Photographs</strong></em>; You should include photographs as part as extra media. If your a craft blogger or Fashion blogger these become very important for expressing instructions and/or displaying a product in your post. <br />
<br />
Photographs should be taken with a decent camera under <em>NATURAL</em> light (Natural light shows true colour and ensures that your images are graphically clear, and can be edited to a high quality. Personally I use two apps found on the apple app store: PicLab and Vintque.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
3. <em><strong>Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)</strong></em>; SEO is basically the way you label your posts in order to get recognised by search engines such as Google. Don't get too carried away when labelling posts as you could end up having a post that is ignore by the search engine all together!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KeEDyTOE0Ho/VK1x-R0pftI/AAAAAAAABEI/--UvP4CH9Eo/s1600/twitter%2B2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KeEDyTOE0Ho/VK1x-R0pftI/AAAAAAAABEI/--UvP4CH9Eo/s1600/twitter%2B2.png" height="132" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4. <em><strong>Promotion</strong></em>; This is just as important as your blog posts themselves. In order to get readers and subscribers you need to place your blog out there. Create new social media accounts and try to advertise your posts- hash tags are a blessing for bloggers as they introduce people that do not necessarily follow you, to your page.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
(Personally, I'm probably guilty of not doing this enough on twitter or Facebook!)</div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4ge3J4dMDIg/VK1zYMWP7xI/AAAAAAAABEQ/a7XHvPj50NY/s1600/Capture.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4ge3J4dMDIg/VK1zYMWP7xI/AAAAAAAABEQ/a7XHvPj50NY/s1600/Capture.PNG" height="131" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
5. <strong><em>Design</em></strong>; This is a pretty simple one. It's important to make your blog look clean so that your content really shines- busy backgrounds and wacky colours can detract from the basic ideas of your blog. This is all about first impressions!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Free and Paid for templates are available to add to your blog however its quite easy with a bit of knowledge to make your blog look clean and sleek without shedding a penny (or cent, depending where your from!).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed these quick tips for new bloggers. I feel very proud of what this blog has currently achieved, recently we hit 4,000 page views! WOW! <a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-B9Oj1tx32uc/VKk5KvLJGhI/AAAAAAAABBU/tPj6xCDIJ8s/s640/blogger-image--1410194685.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-B9Oj1tx32uc/VKk5KvLJGhI/AAAAAAAABBU/tPj6xCDIJ8s/s320/blogger-image--1410194685.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello everyone! This tutorial is something I've wanted to make and post for a while now- DIY Lip Balm. Before we start please note that the images below do not accurately depict measurements/ amounts of ingredients as I changed my recipe many times, during experimentation to get the "right" consistency for a cosmetic.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
So, before we begin there are obviously a few things you will need to buy (personally I ordered mine from amazon);</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Beeswax Pellets (grated beeswax is also an alternative),</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Shea Butter,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Coconut Oil,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Lanolin (optional-Some people can be allergic),</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Essence (e.g. Lavender, apple, jasmine, chocolate)(Optional, but adds a lovely scent to your lip balm),</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~An old lipstick that can be used for tinting the lip balm colour (also optional)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Lip Balm Cosmetic tins/containers (I purchased some 15ml tins),</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~A heat proof surface,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~An old pan,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~A spoon.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-i2Prvweqe_A/VKkxGUnD94I/AAAAAAAABAc/Zp-SCZ3CyAI/s640/blogger-image--1093477976.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-i2Prvweqe_A/VKkxGUnD94I/AAAAAAAABAc/Zp-SCZ3CyAI/s200/blogger-image--1093477976.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
To begin, collect all of your ingredients and utensils in order to ensure you have everything you need. The basic recipe for one lip balm in a 15ml tin is;</div>
-1 teaspoon of Beeswax pellets,<br />
<div>
-1 teaspoon of Shea Butter,</div>
<div>
-2 teaspoons of Coconut Oil,</div>
<div>
-1/2 teaspoon of Lanolin.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9XTpFwRD024/VKkxM_5TWsI/AAAAAAAABA8/KblO1gBmaB4/s640/blogger-image-1114791838.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9XTpFwRD024/VKkxM_5TWsI/AAAAAAAABA8/KblO1gBmaB4/s200/blogger-image-1114791838.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Firstly, take your Beeswax Pellets (1 teaspoon) and place into an old pan, currently it should <i>not</i> be heated.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-31VomUrt2e0/VKkxE4DK6fI/AAAAAAAABAU/RU1bYp84y_c/s640/blogger-image--175643017.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-31VomUrt2e0/VKkxE4DK6fI/AAAAAAAABAU/RU1bYp84y_c/s200/blogger-image--175643017.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then add your Shea Butter to the pan (also 1 teaspoon), you do not need to wash your spoon after every ingredient unless you plan to use specific ingredients for other uses in the future.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-cJXzVPkXgq4/VKkxOnS9j4I/AAAAAAAABBE/b0vMOPI87Gw/s640/blogger-image--483807204.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-cJXzVPkXgq4/VKkxOnS9j4I/AAAAAAAABBE/b0vMOPI87Gw/s200/blogger-image--483807204.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next, add 2 teaspoons of coconut oil. There should always be double the amount of coconut oil to beeswax pellets as the coconut oil is you carrier oil and ensures that your cosmetic is softer rather than to hard.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-HoUf5S4EJIg/VKkxC0al9UI/AAAAAAAABAM/UjcpAszT4a0/s640/blogger-image--1153899981.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-HoUf5S4EJIg/VKkxC0al9UI/AAAAAAAABAM/UjcpAszT4a0/s200/blogger-image--1153899981.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that, take half a teaspoon of lanolin and add to the mixture.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PT9dP9Ian_w/VKkxLaIBtqI/AAAAAAAABA0/a21PKZ1VDXE/s640/blogger-image-47123780.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PT9dP9Ian_w/VKkxLaIBtqI/AAAAAAAABA0/a21PKZ1VDXE/s200/blogger-image-47123780.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Add 10-20 drops of essence of your choice. Here I added essence of apple, however you can purchase other scents such as strawberry, chocolate, jasmine, lavender etc. You could also add multiple scents to experiment with different flavours.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At this point you may also add a slither of lipstick in order to tint your final lip gloss whatever colour you desire.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pZmO9keYpuI/VKkxINJYDcI/AAAAAAAABAk/r0asYeEPLv8/s640/blogger-image-1563209280.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pZmO9keYpuI/VKkxINJYDcI/AAAAAAAABAk/r0asYeEPLv8/s200/blogger-image-1563209280.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Place the pan on a low heat and melt until all ingredients have melted together. Take your containers, open them and place them on a heat proof mat. Use either a spoon or pipettes to distribute liquid lip balm into the containers, and leave for approximately 30 minutes. They should become an opaque colour as they cool, however during this time frame the insides may still be liquid and the tins will be hot so handle with care!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Warning: Metal conducts heat, so tins and pan will be hot!</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope I have inspired you to create your own organic Lip Balms. Please experiment and remember that the more coconut oil added the softer the lip balm will be and they the more beeswax pellets added the harder the lip balm will be. </div>
<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Also note that these ingredients do naturally produce quite a hard lip balm, however they feel lovely and less is more when using them.</span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous new year! Here is a really quick, easy DIY idea/tutorial that ensures you can up cycle your old jeans into a new, useful phone case. (Sorry in advance for the bad images, as they aren't very informative.)</div>
<br />
<div>
Before we begin there are a few things you will need;</div>
<div>
~Old Jeans,</div>
<div>
~Sewing Machine/ sewing needle and thread (if you're hand sewing),</div>
<div>
~Additional embellishments (e.g. Ribbon, lace, etc.)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vts-mWyvkU0/VKVUSNF1WeI/AAAAAAAAA-w/3wjARy0BhRw/s640/blogger-image-307494813.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vts-mWyvkU0/VKVUSNF1WeI/AAAAAAAAA-w/3wjARy0BhRw/s320/blogger-image-307494813.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, to begin; take your old jeans and fold over one leg edge. Place your mobile device over the top and cut the bottom off of the jean leg (if you wish, you could make a pattern for more accurate measurements, however I decided to spontaneously do this tutorial). This will be the length of your phone case, make sure you do not cut to close to your mobile device as it is easier to remove material later then to add it.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fkt6q2S3_50/VKVUXOFVzMI/AAAAAAAAA_I/GrIdqv081F4/s640/blogger-image--376139869.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fkt6q2S3_50/VKVUXOFVzMI/AAAAAAAAA_I/GrIdqv081F4/s320/blogger-image--376139869.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next, unfold the leg edge and separate into two sections by cutting down the two seams of the jeans. You could make two phone cases at this point, as you will only use one of the two sides.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9fSv9w-d2uE/VKVUT25THsI/AAAAAAAAA-4/s_soZOWW830/s640/blogger-image-1202516325.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="238" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9fSv9w-d2uE/VKVUT25THsI/AAAAAAAAA-4/s_soZOWW830/s320/blogger-image-1202516325.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that, take some lace or ribbon of your choice and measure the same length as the original seam of the jeans and pin over the top and sew.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-WtgeS4XoK4Q/VKVUYsrcvNI/AAAAAAAAA_Q/X8EOPmzrQGc/s640/blogger-image-490776930.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="206" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-WtgeS4XoK4Q/VKVUYsrcvNI/AAAAAAAAA_Q/X8EOPmzrQGc/s320/blogger-image-490776930.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then refold the edge over and sew both along the top and again along the lace/ribbon.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-M6o4htA0Ehg/VKVUaaYw1xI/AAAAAAAAA_Y/_JfmR-TnTxo/s640/blogger-image-2083620738.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-M6o4htA0Ehg/VKVUaaYw1xI/AAAAAAAAA_Y/_JfmR-TnTxo/s320/blogger-image-2083620738.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fold the phone case in half with the inside showing and remove any excess material by cutting. Place your mobile device on top before pinning the edges ready to sew.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bB-2piCxTVs/VKVUVu-D0eI/AAAAAAAAA_A/DypyIzejgJw/s640/blogger-image-1026569453.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-bB-2piCxTVs/VKVUVu-D0eI/AAAAAAAAA_A/DypyIzejgJw/s320/blogger-image-1026569453.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally, sew all seams, remove pins and turn inside out. Ensure your mobile phone fits in and there you have an up cycled denim phone case that looks great and was easy to create!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0arz9vSIDVQ/VKVUcJMFLJI/AAAAAAAAA_g/IWsNE8I9O9g/s640/blogger-image-504959581.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0arz9vSIDVQ/VKVUcJMFLJI/AAAAAAAAA_g/IWsNE8I9O9g/s320/blogger-image-504959581.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Merry Christmas!!! Hello everyone! Here is my Christmas post special along side a five of my own Christmas crafts and DIYs that have been made over the years!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4inLzgnNOps/VJrP2o1WcdI/AAAAAAAAA94/4qpaT3o2fH0/s640/blogger-image-1879980573.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4inLzgnNOps/VJrP2o1WcdI/AAAAAAAAA94/4qpaT3o2fH0/s200/blogger-image-1879980573.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly this plain,wooden 'Noel' sign was cheaply purchased and then decopatched in lovely Christmas paper- it looks great and rivals some signs you may find in some shops.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-WmIwfZIwhlM/VJrP4TBqPpI/AAAAAAAAA-A/a07WWMaFCGA/s640/blogger-image--1089120358.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-WmIwfZIwhlM/VJrP4TBqPpI/AAAAAAAAA-A/a07WWMaFCGA/s200/blogger-image--1089120358.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next, this groovy tree was handmade by my lovely nan. The base is firm in order to weigh the tree down and the tree itself was sewn and then stuffing was used in order to 'plump it up'</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-6lH0hhBPwjE/VJrQnvJgiHI/AAAAAAAAA-I/Bx2Eqe8UxAY/s640/blogger-image-1933033869.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-6lH0hhBPwjE/VJrQnvJgiHI/AAAAAAAAA-I/Bx2Eqe8UxAY/s200/blogger-image-1933033869.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These jolly snowmen were also decopatched, after picking up the paper mâché plain version from hobby craft a few years ago (I think they still do them around this time of year). I must admit they look quite scary in this image!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Mvzts1ag13w/VJrQpLdiptI/AAAAAAAAA-Q/S5m5UncJ0a4/s640/blogger-image--2049932960.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Mvzts1ag13w/VJrQpLdiptI/AAAAAAAAA-Q/S5m5UncJ0a4/s200/blogger-image--2049932960.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This 'Let it Snow' sign was anoth decopatch project and is simply positioned onto the wall using blue-tack.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-_7LGUiKCFRE/VJrQrQa8X7I/AAAAAAAAA-Y/7SZ81zsSO3M/s640/blogger-image-591630574.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-_7LGUiKCFRE/VJrQrQa8X7I/AAAAAAAAA-Y/7SZ81zsSO3M/s200/blogger-image-591630574.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally, my festive cushions! These were sewn using Christmassy fat-quarters and then also stuffed. They look fabulous under the tree and fill up any space that has not be used by presents!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this quick post on Christmas Eve!! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and new year! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! :) x</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-KprcdTiqtKM/VISR-TYmWpI/AAAAAAAAA9M/_vnryKaSJ5k/s640/blogger-image--884591662.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-KprcdTiqtKM/VISR-TYmWpI/AAAAAAAAA9M/_vnryKaSJ5k/s400/blogger-image--884591662.jpg" width="305" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi Everyone! I'm here to help with some last-minute, forgotten DIY present and decoration ideas. In total, after rummaging through Pinterest I found 8 really neat crafty ideas for this winter holiday. So, let's begin...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-X_Kap5VM6es/VIR8ATPD9lI/AAAAAAAAA80/Zo925zMsVmc/s640/blogger-image-1845602707.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-X_Kap5VM6es/VIR8ATPD9lI/AAAAAAAAA80/Zo925zMsVmc/s320/blogger-image-1845602707.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Firstly, DIY lippy (Lip Balm), I'm in love with the idea of making your own cosmetics, and making them look stunning with personalised labels and would be really nice to give away as a homemade Christmas gift! They're so cute! Might have to make some myself! They're especially great in these winter months when everyone's lips start cracking and really are an essential.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-74evHnNiC9w/VISSBCzaa3I/AAAAAAAAA9c/PHH595QuLq4/s640/blogger-image--1052616343.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-74evHnNiC9w/VISSBCzaa3I/AAAAAAAAA9c/PHH595QuLq4/s320/blogger-image--1052616343.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next, here is another DIY gift idea. Why not take a plain white mug and personalise it using either a marker pen or a sharpie. The great thing about sharpies, is that they come in an array of colours- so get experimenting, then give them as a loving present.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-T2MFglt59iE/VISR_9KPXAI/AAAAAAAAA9U/9C_pcC_Tg58/s640/blogger-image-1756787282.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-T2MFglt59iE/VISR_9KPXAI/AAAAAAAAA9U/9C_pcC_Tg58/s320/blogger-image-1756787282.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thirdly, I have found some paper craft ideas. These cards are absolutely adorable and would look stunning on a fireplace next to some Christmas stockings! They are also relatively easy, and could again be personalised. The name tags could be made from bits and bobs lying around the house- yet they still look really beautiful!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-CE8QTQEXq6Y/VISR86CqWeI/AAAAAAAAA9E/YPVduGxO7ss/s640/blogger-image--232890023.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-CE8QTQEXq6Y/VISR86CqWeI/AAAAAAAAA9E/YPVduGxO7ss/s320/blogger-image--232890023.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am in love with the next two decorative ideas; a hot chocolate bauble and Christmas tree shelves. To create the bauble, simply fill a clear bauble with coca powder, marshmallows and other deliciousness and replace the top. Hang on your tree and enjoy whenever you wish! The Christmas tree may not be as easy to recreate- however it does give you some inspiration and ideas for decorations.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Mb406RdZOyY/VIR7_J2z1XI/AAAAAAAAA8s/Gqjtd7zbHTI/s640/blogger-image-1644170741.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Mb406RdZOyY/VIR7_J2z1XI/AAAAAAAAA8s/Gqjtd7zbHTI/s320/blogger-image-1644170741.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally, no Christmas is complete without a DIY snow globe- maybe place in a tree, snowman or reindeer into an old jar? Another warming gift idea; crochet infinity scarf! They're all in fashion and are great to create yourself!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And there we go! 8 Christmassy DIY ideas! Merry Christmas or as they say in the USA: Happy Holidays! Remember to comment, share and follow this blog on all of my social media, it really is appreciated! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! :)x</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<em>Disclaimer: Please note that the ideas featured in this post were all found on Pinterest- however I am in no way affiliated with the site and or other similar corporations. These were all crafts in which I wished to share, as I felt they were good inspiration and ideas.</em></div>

<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-cEyh_fpeJF8/VHHljrHkM9I/AAAAAAAAA7U/VLFeDnrB46o/s640/blogger-image--1792338159.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-cEyh_fpeJF8/VHHljrHkM9I/AAAAAAAAA7U/VLFeDnrB46o/s320/blogger-image--1792338159.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi internet lovelies! Me again! Recently I've been inspired by my love for dream catchers- I have no idea why, but they're just so beautiful! So to start making a Dream Catcher necklace you will need a number of things;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~A hoop or ring of some kind; If you can't find one, make one out of wire like me!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Embroidery thread, if you have none normal thread and string work just as well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~A needle,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Decorative items like beads and feathers come in handy!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-T4uG3TZW2rc/VHHmKYb_Q3I/AAAAAAAAA7s/xQnUyhy4TSM/s640/blogger-image-1289181452.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-T4uG3TZW2rc/VHHmKYb_Q3I/AAAAAAAAA7s/xQnUyhy4TSM/s200/blogger-image-1289181452.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If, like me, you are using wire instead of a hoop; take your wire and bend it around an everyday object (hairspray bottle, makeup bottle...etc). Use round nose pliers to slightly bend both ends into a half circle and interlock together (like a chain). Crimp, using the same pliers for strength.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To begin take your embroidery thread, and thread through your needle.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-qz20qLEbciU/VHHmHe97yqI/AAAAAAAAA7c/WNYZ1HM9XG8/s640/blogger-image--1737537547.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-qz20qLEbciU/VHHmHe97yqI/AAAAAAAAA7c/WNYZ1HM9XG8/s200/blogger-image--1737537547.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next loop the thread over and under the circumference of your hoop. Bring the needle back through the thread that makes the first part of your dream catcher (pictured below), and pull to tighten the loop.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-voi6Vpn-jD0/VHHmSjyebmI/AAAAAAAAA8U/1RJXcqgkE7Y/s640/blogger-image--1556107970.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-voi6Vpn-jD0/VHHmSjyebmI/AAAAAAAAA8U/1RJXcqgkE7Y/s200/blogger-image--1556107970.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Continue to to this all the way around the circumference of your hoop, making the distance between each loop as even as you can.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Y4b9fFK2jGE/VHHmLyh39QI/AAAAAAAAA70/NFOfIozJ6QA/s640/blogger-image-1404054178.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Y4b9fFK2jGE/VHHmLyh39QI/AAAAAAAAA70/NFOfIozJ6QA/s200/blogger-image-1404054178.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once you have gone all the way around, continue to do the same thing, but using the lines created just. Try to position these next loops in the centre of each of the thread lines.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-DkAGV4zv5fE/VHHmUMIaIwI/AAAAAAAAA8c/EgudIZPONfM/s640/blogger-image--1922848133.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-DkAGV4zv5fE/VHHmUMIaIwI/AAAAAAAAA8c/EgudIZPONfM/s200/blogger-image--1922848133.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that simply continue again, until you reach the centre.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9jo5YL2noMI/VHHmRD0NFQI/AAAAAAAAA8M/sZ7rzgEHgXw/s640/blogger-image-1422156034.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9jo5YL2noMI/VHHmRD0NFQI/AAAAAAAAA8M/sZ7rzgEHgXw/s200/blogger-image-1422156034.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At this point you could add a bead or charm. I decided to add a pearl. Thread the bead onto your needle and secure it into place using a double knot on the back side of your dream catcher.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--k6BqSHZ20I/VHHmNW7g-xI/AAAAAAAAA78/-fIBKKE046s/s640/blogger-image--1000664397.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--k6BqSHZ20I/VHHmNW7g-xI/AAAAAAAAA78/-fIBKKE046s/s200/blogger-image--1000664397.jpg" width="150" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Your dream catcher is nearly finished! Simply add embellishments to the bottom and add jewellery components, to create your finished necklace! </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-WtRNWtE060g/VHHmI1_nF6I/AAAAAAAAA7k/TMuZtXrRk_4/s640/blogger-image--1051126971.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-WtRNWtE060g/VHHmI1_nF6I/AAAAAAAAA7k/TMuZtXrRk_4/s320/blogger-image--1051126971.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Please comment, share and subscribe it's greatly appreciated! Sorry that there wasn't a post last weekend as I was at the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour, and pictures should be up shortly! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! Enjoy! ;) x</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello internet lovelies! I'm here to share some practical, yet useful DIY ideas for Autumn and Winter, as the cold days and dark nights draw in. So I took to Pinterest and found a range of really creative ideas and DIYs. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly for any Starbucks enthusiast a crochet cup cosy (pictured to the left of the above image) is a must have. Not only is it easy to make through knitting, there are so many ways in which you can make it look more creative and interesting... Why not crochet it into an animal or shape, like the ones below?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-EjSTifF-r2g/VF5At3m25gI/AAAAAAAAA5I/0CAY_ZZv4IM/s640/blogger-image--1202440204.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="312" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-EjSTifF-r2g/VF5At3m25gI/AAAAAAAAA5I/0CAY_ZZv4IM/s320/blogger-image--1202440204.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Secondly, DIY Hand Warmers. These are great to heat up in a morning and grab just before you run out of the house. They keep your hands warm in the cold mornings and are really simple to create. Simply sew two squares of fabric together and fill with rice, heat up in the microwave for 1 minute and voila!! They also look fantastic customised;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-7DuPjSYBYKM/VF5AvYiQn8I/AAAAAAAAA5Q/hG82dO8YIXQ/s640/blogger-image-49619063.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="208" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-7DuPjSYBYKM/VF5AvYiQn8I/AAAAAAAAA5Q/hG82dO8YIXQ/s320/blogger-image-49619063.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally, it's candle time of the year! Light those sweet smelling waxy things and place them in a glass jar. The first image show some decopaged leaves, however there is much more that you can do with them! Maybe dunk half of the jar in coloured paint and leave to dry, or decopage lace on to the outside instead of leaves??</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Hello internet lovelies! Today I'm posting a new Polymer Clay tutorial- now I know its not a weekend, but I really wanted to post this as soon as possible. So lets get started...</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
<em>There are a few things that you will need however, before we begin:</em></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
~Polymer Clay (Fimo or Sculpey will do) in Translucent, pale peach, black, grey, brown, white and any other colours you may need if your adding other details,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
~Tools, in order to help you model and cut the clay,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
~Wire (any colour will do),</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
~Eyepin and other jewellery components.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wA3VFRGehJI/VFkO_91WhJI/AAAAAAAAA3U/g2VWva2qan8/s640/blogger-image-683738293.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wA3VFRGehJI/VFkO_91WhJI/AAAAAAAAA3U/g2VWva2qan8/s200/blogger-image-683738293.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="center">
To start take your peach and translucent clay and mix into quite a large ball. Try not to get many dust fibres on the clay, as they are easily noticeable. This ball will be Harry's head.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-3BtYaxy9Xac/VFkO8ejNSdI/AAAAAAAAA3E/YVbN85zSu4s/s640/blogger-image-1579869600.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-3BtYaxy9Xac/VFkO8ejNSdI/AAAAAAAAA3E/YVbN85zSu4s/s200/blogger-image-1579869600.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Next take your grey clay and mix with a SMALL amount of the black clay (if too much is added the grey will also become black), in order to slightly darken it. Roll the new colour into a thick, short sausage with flat ends and attach to the head.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3WIcvvZyVi8/VFkO62oms-I/AAAAAAAAA28/_shxNqz2ZIw/s640/blogger-image--113459635.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3WIcvvZyVi8/VFkO62oms-I/AAAAAAAAA28/_shxNqz2ZIw/s200/blogger-image--113459635.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
After that add legs using the same grey colour, by rolling into smaller, thinner sausages. Attach these to the bottom of the body, and make sure that they're in proportion!</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-50BGc8reOxo/VFkOzvZz4nI/AAAAAAAAA2U/Ma2kVS1aPkE/s640/blogger-image--945829180.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-50BGc8reOxo/VFkOzvZz4nI/AAAAAAAAA2U/Ma2kVS1aPkE/s200/blogger-image--945829180.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Time to make the robe... Take the black clay and flatten into a pancake. Cut a sort of trapezium shape as pictured above, with the bottom being longer than the top.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UG61z_Qir68/VFkO2bNm0tI/AAAAAAAAA2k/FskVT_eGFbs/s640/blogger-image-1265550742.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UG61z_Qir68/VFkO2bNm0tI/AAAAAAAAA2k/FskVT_eGFbs/s200/blogger-image-1265550742.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then position onto Harry's body. Add arms to the robe, also using black clay and roll small peach balls as the hands. The body now has its shape.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-UJRuE_9vQZk/VFkO1JoAmyI/AAAAAAAAA2c/oSOole4GQBA/s640/blogger-image--1355039023.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-UJRuE_9vQZk/VFkO1JoAmyI/AAAAAAAAA2c/oSOole4GQBA/s200/blogger-image--1355039023.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Before you bake, add details such as brown shoes and a Gryffindor tie (Mine wasn't really a success!), glasses (bent wire), a collar out of white clay, and also the hair. When doing the hair its a good idea to look at an image; this ensures that the direction is as accurate as possible.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-NNNYK0Ismrk/VFkO32QfRUI/AAAAAAAAA2s/1bCI32wDhxM/s640/blogger-image--613525400.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-NNNYK0Ismrk/VFkO32QfRUI/AAAAAAAAA2s/1bCI32wDhxM/s200/blogger-image--613525400.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once your character has baked add eyes, a mouth and Harry's scar using black and white acrylic paint. I also added small wands and harry potter books using this <a href="http://cutecraftylicious.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/harry-potter-inspired-wands.html" target="_blank">post here.</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-v9Tw1JT84Ww/VFE0ZpDYWxI/AAAAAAAAA1E/liS426gNPc4/s640/blogger-image--1712930560.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-v9Tw1JT84Ww/VFE0ZpDYWxI/AAAAAAAAA1E/liS426gNPc4/s400/blogger-image--1712930560.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello internet lovelies!! I've got another tutorial this week- DIY notebook, with an idea to "cheat" book binding without thread! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Before we start you will need a few things that you will probably find around the house in your craft supplies;</div>
~Hot Glue Gun,<br />
<div>
~Glue Sticks,</div>
<div>
~A wad of paper (whatever size you would like I use A4),</div>
<div>
~Cardboard (any thickness will do),</div>
<div>
~Fabric of your choice (this will be the cover so choose wisely!)</div>
<div>
~Embelishments of your choice,</div>
<div>
~Large paper clip (not completely necessary but it helps).</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Q7jPa1LST2Y/VFE0c_S78xI/AAAAAAAAA1U/xMwQl0oA3YM/s640/blogger-image-447498112.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Q7jPa1LST2Y/VFE0c_S78xI/AAAAAAAAA1U/xMwQl0oA3YM/s200/blogger-image-447498112.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So to begin take your wad of paper, this can be as many or as little as you want, and begin to fold in half. I used A4 sheets so my final notebook is aproxiamately A5 size- keep this in mind when choosing your paper size.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-6un7-Ixxww4/VFE0j3A5xgI/AAAAAAAAA10/kGEJTZgA5EE/s640/blogger-image--276374987.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-6un7-Ixxww4/VFE0j3A5xgI/AAAAAAAAA10/kGEJTZgA5EE/s200/blogger-image--276374987.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that group the folded edges together and use the paper clip to keep all of the sheets in position. Make sure that you don't push the paper clip all of the way down, else the paper will scratch when it is removed.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-0JdgReo23gE/VFE0iBg_KtI/AAAAAAAAA1s/gOLG_tkEy10/s640/blogger-image--1380319633.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-0JdgReo23gE/VFE0iBg_KtI/AAAAAAAAA1s/gOLG_tkEy10/s200/blogger-image--1380319633.jpg" width="150" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that take your glue gun and melt glue over the folded edges. This can be done by applying in a zigzag motion and then spreading out over all pages. Make sure that you hold the edges close as you do this to ensure the best final result.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-82iMPYWIb9U/VFE0fIYs5yI/AAAAAAAAA1c/lW3J-EpaWQU/s640/blogger-image-39643023.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-82iMPYWIb9U/VFE0fIYs5yI/AAAAAAAAA1c/lW3J-EpaWQU/s200/blogger-image-39643023.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you would like a bookmark/page marker, glue a ribbon onto the spine. Make sure that the ribbon is quite long (at least double the length of the spine) to ensure that the bookmark reaches the ends of the pages.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eXT7Q9t7g7o/VFE0leCAiyI/AAAAAAAAA18/YSjLxCKtmPo/s640/blogger-image--827710241.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="152" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eXT7Q9t7g7o/VFE0leCAiyI/AAAAAAAAA18/YSjLxCKtmPo/s200/blogger-image--827710241.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next measure your paper pages and cut out 2x cardboard rectangles. These should be approx 5mm bigger than the sheets as these will be your outer covers. Also cut a cardboard spine, about the same size as the glued one. Cut your fabric to an appropriate size leaving a large border around the edge.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After than lay them out, as pictured below over your fabric and glue into position. Fold the border of the fabric and glue to the cardboard rectangles.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/--09HMMz-2KU/VFE0mjUoj7I/AAAAAAAAA2E/iE1hFdU0v4o/s640/blogger-image--1362981862.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/--09HMMz-2KU/VFE0mjUoj7I/AAAAAAAAA2E/iE1hFdU0v4o/s200/blogger-image--1362981862.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then glue your paper pages onto place by glueing both the paper and cardboard spines together, hold into place until dry and secure. This step may take quite a bit of glue and patience in order to keep in position, however the results are impressive.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-mOg-ThoBinA/VFE0X3TMMHI/AAAAAAAAA08/7bg3pw7Jf2Y/s640/blogger-image-607657958.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="142" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-mOg-ThoBinA/VFE0X3TMMHI/AAAAAAAAA08/7bg3pw7Jf2Y/s200/blogger-image-607657958.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once you have finished the main body of your notebook, take some spare scrapbooking paper, cut to size and glue over the rough edges of the fabric boarder, and the first page. This just adds a more professional look the the final product, and also adds some strength. However it is optional.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_g2dHQo_uZY/VFE0bSafIAI/AAAAAAAAA1M/SK__wv5a33I/s640/blogger-image--2090935995.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="130" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-_g2dHQo_uZY/VFE0bSafIAI/AAAAAAAAA1M/SK__wv5a33I/s200/blogger-image--2090935995.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally add your chosen embellishments onto the front cover and fill with all sorts of ideas and jottings! Enjoy! Hopefully you enjoyed this tutorial, if so please share and comment, it's really appreciated. Also tweet me some of your notebooks via my social media to the top left colomn of my blog, I would love to see some! Keep the creative juices flowing! :) </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello everyone!! I'm here with a new tutorial- make your own polymer clay unicorn! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Before we start there are a few things you'll need;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~White Polymer Clay (Fimo or Sculpey either will do),</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Pink, Blue and purple polymer clay (these three colours can be any really, these are just the ones that I used in this tutorial),</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Acrylic paint white and black,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
~Tools (eg. Exacto knife, rolling pin etc...).</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-20VLWOS6iqw/VEkl_V_Q7TI/AAAAAAAAAz0/SuM4kaZ7rTc/s640/blogger-image-1274824231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="120" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-20VLWOS6iqw/VEkl_V_Q7TI/AAAAAAAAAz0/SuM4kaZ7rTc/s200/blogger-image-1274824231.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Roll out a large ball of white clay- as this will be your main unicorn body. Also roll out three smaller balls from the other colours of clay that you chose.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-iey3GDkuW0M/VEkmGR25jPI/AAAAAAAAA0c/G-zs5oS1kQc/s640/blogger-image-2084234393.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-iey3GDkuW0M/VEkmGR25jPI/AAAAAAAAA0c/G-zs5oS1kQc/s200/blogger-image-2084234393.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Mix pink clay and white together in order to lighten the colour. Then cut another smaller piece of white clay and roll both out Ito a sausage shape. Twist them together like in the image above (this will be the unicorn horn) and cut at a point where the horn will look like a cone shape.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-rR0P5LypWtQ/VEkmH-uT-4I/AAAAAAAAA0k/8Kb9VM5uNpk/s640/blogger-image--1020854698.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="162" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-rR0P5LypWtQ/VEkmH-uT-4I/AAAAAAAAA0k/8Kb9VM5uNpk/s200/blogger-image--1020854698.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next take about just under half of your white clay, roll into a ball and sculpt so that one end is thinner and more pointed than the other. Add your unicorn horn on top by pressing firmly (make sure you don't squash your creation at this stage).</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-dBC90LU5ZiY/VEkmCRlDMhI/AAAAAAAAA0E/MOLBRn1DlOU/s640/blogger-image--1510698593.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-dBC90LU5ZiY/VEkmCRlDMhI/AAAAAAAAA0E/MOLBRn1DlOU/s200/blogger-image--1510698593.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After that start on the body. Take most of your remaining clay (leave enough for arms and legs) and shape so that, like the head, one end is thinner than the other - make sure that both ends are flat. Add the head to the top of the thinnest side.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-JMXGocbCRgk/VEkmFJ_I8SI/AAAAAAAAA0U/whZ5Bu8jBqY/s640/blogger-image--2105769367.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-JMXGocbCRgk/VEkmFJ_I8SI/AAAAAAAAA0U/whZ5Bu8jBqY/s200/blogger-image--2105769367.jpg" width="189" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Roll out the remaining white clay into a sausage and cut into 4 appropriate lengths. Position them onto the body as shown above.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-tMKn12oP0rM/VEkmJPpGrII/AAAAAAAAA0s/2b_k3go9XPQ/s640/blogger-image-138050741.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="164" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-tMKn12oP0rM/VEkmJPpGrII/AAAAAAAAA0s/2b_k3go9XPQ/s200/blogger-image-138050741.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once you have done that begin to add hair strands of rolled up clay onto the head and gently curve round to give the impression of waves in the hair. Use your coloured clay to do so.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-oWBO1VIa6qY/VEkmAw7f8zI/AAAAAAAAAz8/Aee-PzaQTE4/s640/blogger-image--750146694.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="262" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-oWBO1VIa6qY/VEkmAw7f8zI/AAAAAAAAAz8/Aee-PzaQTE4/s320/blogger-image--750146694.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once you have completed the hair your unicorn is ready to go in the oven and bake! Make sure your happy with it and follow the instructions on your packaging. Add eyes using acrylic paint and voila!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, it's been a while since I uploaded a polymer clay tutorial! Sorry about the dust on the white clay on the pictures, it can't really be helped. See you next time, keep the creative juices flowing! ;)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello everyone, I'm back with another post- how to make your own harry potter inspired wire ring! Next month I will be visiting the Harry Potter Warner Bros studios in London.....As you can probably guess I'm very excited, and will be uploading a few more posts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">So, before we begin you will need;</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">~Wire of a decent thickness (any colour you like),</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">~Scissors,</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">~Round Nose Pliers.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XsKAlgDMb1c/VEU_ejeLZnI/AAAAAAAAAzk/s5SuG_fA_is/s640/blogger-image-183355788.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XsKAlgDMb1c/VEU_ejeLZnI/AAAAAAAAAzk/s5SuG_fA_is/s200/blogger-image-183355788.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
Cut around 10-15cm of wire, you will have a lot of excess, however this can be used in future craft projects. After all it's better to have more than enough, rather than to run out mid-creation.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-V7T4d0NUa5g/VEU_dTiOu-I/AAAAAAAAAzc/TqwEsIzQZSU/s640/blogger-image--747909139.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-V7T4d0NUa5g/VEU_dTiOu-I/AAAAAAAAAzc/TqwEsIzQZSU/s200/blogger-image--747909139.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Take one end of your wire and produce a circular shape, by bending the wire twice around the thickest part of you pliers.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XfYn2X93yV4/VEU_XycW_9I/AAAAAAAAAy8/eXuBdNzCCdo/s640/blogger-image-1631828163.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XfYn2X93yV4/VEU_XycW_9I/AAAAAAAAAy8/eXuBdNzCCdo/s200/blogger-image-1631828163.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Next, take your pliers and bend the next length of wire half way around the smallest part of the plier nose- this will create the nose piece of Potter's glasses.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-w7Pwe_aWxmg/VEU_agvTA2I/AAAAAAAAAzM/NqCIvDthxKw/s640/blogger-image-1789099124.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-w7Pwe_aWxmg/VEU_agvTA2I/AAAAAAAAAzM/NqCIvDthxKw/s200/blogger-image-1789099124.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
After that, make another circular loop by bending- try to keep it around the same/similar size to the first one.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zFT6KFNyM4A/VEU_ZfL3wTI/AAAAAAAAAzE/l9hHwyyFmh0/s640/blogger-image-1833890831.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zFT6KFNyM4A/VEU_ZfL3wTI/AAAAAAAAAzE/l9hHwyyFmh0/s200/blogger-image-1833890831.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
Next bend the remander of the wire around to create the final ring shape. Then loop around the other side of the glasses and pinch into shape. If you want to add Harry's Scar simply twist and bend the wire as shown in the image below. (You can tell I got slightly carried away, as I also drew a smiley on my thumb!) :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hello Internet world! It's been a while since my last post (very sorry), but I have recently had a huge creative block! :( </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway I'm back with another fabulous idea. Recently I've been inspired by mehndi patterns and henna tattoos- so I took to Pinterest and found some inspiration to create my own.....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9qKGsNwZ5eU/VDFJl_pO9eI/AAAAAAAAAyE/Ue5Kl-OuNYw/s640/blogger-image--803734784.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9qKGsNwZ5eU/VDFJl_pO9eI/AAAAAAAAAyE/Ue5Kl-OuNYw/s320/blogger-image--803734784.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started drawing out my design in pencil, simply so that it was easy to change and rub out any features that I didn't like.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3Pct5WVyEiY/VDFJnS8wVSI/AAAAAAAAAyM/AR5Hg8QXtG0/s640/blogger-image-1123703092.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3Pct5WVyEiY/VDFJnS8wVSI/AAAAAAAAAyM/AR5Hg8QXtG0/s320/blogger-image-1123703092.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once my pencil design was complete I found my favourite fineliners and began going back over all of my lines (this made it a whole lot darker and contrasted with the page).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Here's how the black fine liner finished up, you could experiment and try different colours and textures of pen.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My next brain wave was to add colour- however at this point I loved the black and white colours so instead I photocopied it and coloured small parts that were my favourite! I really am very happy with the result!! I love how simple shapes and curves can result in beautiful patterns and designs!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello everyone!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's the last week of the holidays and it back to school time!! Yay! So to make the whole experience more interesting why not personalise your stuff with these funky ideas?!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First of all; A Decopatched planner! This looks really cool and unique, the one pictured is mine from last year; however it still looked pretty good even though it's been dropped on the table many times! My friend also Decopatched her calculator with a combination of papers!! It looks incredible!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Secondly; why not make your own pencil case- I have done a post on this previously and it looks fantastic!(especially when you can't find one that you like in the shops).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://cutecraftylicious.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/diy-pencil-case.html">http://cutecraftylicious.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/diy-pencil-case.html</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And lastly; a chalk board!! This is great for organisation at home but it could also be nailed to the door of your locker. If you want more of a DIY take a flat piece of wood and make some chalk paint; there are loads of recipes on <a href="http://pinterest.com/" target="_blank">Pinterest</a>!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you liked these funky ideas to make going back to school more enjoyable! Sorry my posts won't be as frequent in the near future as I have no real content that I can feel enthusiastic about! Hello everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sorry, it's been a while! I aimed to post more often this holiday and that seems to have been forgotten! But to make up for the lack of posts I have a few wire ring ideas!! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So before we begin you will need some supplies;</div>
~Thick<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"> <span style="font-family: inherit;">wire preferably about 0.6-0.8mm</span>,</span><br />
~Round nose pliers,<br />
<div>
~Scissors,</div>
<div>
~Some pretty coloured beads!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aamUDehH3wg/U-3KdeRDPfI/AAAAAAAAAww/MIq84eRrvmU/s640/blogger-image-971351983.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aamUDehH3wg/U-3KdeRDPfI/AAAAAAAAAww/MIq84eRrvmU/s320/blogger-image-971351983.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To start with all of these rings cut about 15cm of wire.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
1. For the first wire ring (pictured on ring finger), take your wire and thread one bead into the centre. Wrap one end of the wire around half of the bead and repeat with the other side. (Both ends should have swapped places) Then wrap the wire around a pen three times, cut to the appropriate length and loop the edges in opposite directions.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
2. For the second ring (pictures on the middle finger) take your wire and continuously loop around the smaller end of the pliers, changing the direction that you do it in everytime. Once you have completed this to the appropriate length, bend the wire around the edge of the first loop that you created.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
3. For the third and final ring (pictured on the first finger) thread a bead onto the wire and wrap around a pen. Then adjust to your finger size, cut to appropriate size and bend both ends of the wire into interlocking loops.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These rings look incredible and hopefully give you some ideas! So sorry that I haven't had time to post recently will be working on new ideas for the time being!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! Enjoy!!x</div>

Hello Everyone!</div>
<div align="center">
I've been using Pinterest for quite some time now. (In case you do not know what it is) Pinterest is a site whereby people(pinners) upload images(called pins) to boards(like a kind of mood board), in order to share them around the online community. The site covers many topics, like art, hobbies and crafts, fashion, architecture, sci-fi, and more!</div>

I think that it is a really quick way to get inspiration for projects and to even see what others have completed!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Recently I have grown a love for old sewing machines- in particular the famous Singer sewing machine. This inspiration lead to this treasure of an idea! In this tutorial I will show you how to make your own polymer clay model which can be adapted into a piece of jewellery or an ornament.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Before we start you will need a few things;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
~Black, Brown and Silver effect polymer clay,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
~Eye Pins,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
~Permanent Marker Gold and Silver Pens,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
~Printed Logo,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
~Super Glue.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-KBKLbxndVzI/U9Ds8vooqdI/AAAAAAAAAvg/HTjuLtVK8mc/s640/blogger-image--1443224786.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-KBKLbxndVzI/U9Ds8vooqdI/AAAAAAAAAvg/HTjuLtVK8mc/s200/blogger-image--1443224786.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<em>(click to enlarge images)</em></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To begin take your black clay and roll in a ball to soften(1) for this tutorial you will need slightly more than in other tutorials. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next roll the ball into a thick sausage shape(2) and bend around 1/4 from the right hand side to make a shape that looks a bit like a gun(3), and slightly flatten the end facing downwards.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Take the left end of the sausage and pinch upwards and downwards (looking at an image helps with this step)(4) .</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-F8Fz9prxm44/U9Ds45eyljI/AAAAAAAAAvQ/iOV2vJ7GGdo/s640/blogger-image-226406898.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-F8Fz9prxm44/U9Ds45eyljI/AAAAAAAAAvQ/iOV2vJ7GGdo/s200/blogger-image-226406898.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After that take another, smaller piece of black clay, roll into a sausage and then flatten into a long pancake shape(5). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Place the main sewing machine on top(6) and gently push to secure into place. Add eye pins and details and then bake for the time and temperature stated on the packaging of your polymer clay.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once baked use your paint pens to add smaller details and print off the labels below (save the image below, then insert and resize as an a4 sheet of paper into word) and then varnish to complete.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-h2si-K6hVXk/U9DtkM_uoWI/AAAAAAAAAvo/rRLyZXTSmcs/s1600/singer+sewing+machine+logo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-h2si-K6hVXk/U9DtkM_uoWI/AAAAAAAAAvo/rRLyZXTSmcs/s1600/singer+sewing+machine+logo.jpg" height="200" width="141" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial as I haven't done a polymer clay post in some time! Keep the Creative Juices flowing! New posts will be added regularly through the holidays so keep checking back!x</div>

<div align="center">
Hello everyone!</div>
<div align="center">
This post will show you how to make your very own vintage camera phone/gadget case to match along side my very popular <a href="http://cutecraftylicious.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/polymer-clay-camera-tutorial.html" target="_blank">polymer clay camera tutorial!</a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Before we get started there is just a few things you will need;</div>
<div align="center">
~A range of pretty fabrics,</div>
<div align="center">
~any extras you wish to add,</div>
<div align="center">
~sewing machine (or needle and thread if you wish to sew by hand),</div>
<div align="center">
~The printed pattern which can be found in the link below</div>
<div align="center">
<a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxBcYlFM0-skeUM1OWFPRXRobms/edit?usp=sharing">https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxBcYlFM0-skeUM1OWFPRXRobms/edit?usp=sharing</a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/--5y0JX1R1bM/U8-qdinwmDI/AAAAAAAAAuc/nw1g97zHC4c/s640/blogger-image-823934528.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/--5y0JX1R1bM/U8-qdinwmDI/AAAAAAAAAuc/nw1g97zHC4c/s200/blogger-image-823934528.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To begin gather all of your equipment and cut out the pattern, and pin to your chosen fabrics. Then accurately cut out your shapes.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-7POjM3t0P60/U8-qannyZiI/AAAAAAAAAuU/aGBFWrGAPE4/s640/blogger-image-272668141.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-7POjM3t0P60/U8-qannyZiI/AAAAAAAAAuU/aGBFWrGAPE4/s200/blogger-image-272668141.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sew the decoration onto the front side of the main phone sock, using the first image as a guide. Remember to pin, in order to stop the fabric moving and to ensure straight seams and lines of stitching.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-c2VMeC1RCUA/U8-yTg1yWVI/AAAAAAAAAu0/HxO2cf1rE5w/s640/blogger-image--730221662.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-c2VMeC1RCUA/U8-yTg1yWVI/AAAAAAAAAu0/HxO2cf1rE5w/s200/blogger-image--730221662.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Once all of your decoration is sewn, place the two sides of fabric on top of each other back to front and pin. Sew around 3 sides and then hem the top, add a strap to the top and voila!</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hello everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So sorry that this post is up late! I have no excuses! There is a small crafty DIY at the bottom of this post that relates to my recent trip to Belgium, where I visited many landmarks, cemeteries and battlefields remembering all those who lost their lives during WW1. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Without any of those brave courageous soldiers we would not be living the same lives as we do today. Here are a couple of the places that I visited.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LFz04qPYI70/U8gJieWBfTI/AAAAAAAAAtQ/a3WTB6YqnVQ/s640/blogger-image--363392854.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LFz04qPYI70/U8gJieWBfTI/AAAAAAAAAtQ/a3WTB6YqnVQ/s200/blogger-image--363392854.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First off is the Menin Gate where all the names of the missing are engraves into the walls, arranged in regiments and ranks. This was also a moving visit as we watched the Last Post Ceremony, which is held every night, to honour all soldiers.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-cwkSU8t27Tw/U8gJmmUWPiI/AAAAAAAAAto/SlUTqDjGuQ8/s640/blogger-image-1651267904.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-cwkSU8t27Tw/U8gJmmUWPiI/AAAAAAAAAto/SlUTqDjGuQ8/s200/blogger-image-1651267904.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next is Vimy Ridge, where Canadian tour guides show us around the memorial which holds cemeteries, trenches and tunnels. The image above illustrates an area of Canadian trench along the front line on Vimy Ridge.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PvzxvOzmXZ8/U8gJjyLN-yI/AAAAAAAAAtY/e3R1_MPBFpA/s640/blogger-image--1779386862.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-PvzxvOzmXZ8/U8gJjyLN-yI/AAAAAAAAAtY/e3R1_MPBFpA/s200/blogger-image--1779386862.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Thiepval shown above and below is the memorial commemorating all the French and British soldiers who where missing in action during the battle of The Somme, (Unfortunately it was raining that day),in this particular cemetery British Soldiers have been remembered through curved top grave stones, and French soldiers with crosses.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aZ7DJH9_wlo/U8gJlIb1wRI/AAAAAAAAAtg/DxMbzR1NPpU/s640/blogger-image-1214608944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aZ7DJH9_wlo/U8gJlIb1wRI/AAAAAAAAAtg/DxMbzR1NPpU/s200/blogger-image-1214608944.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here in Britain on 11:00am on the 11th day of the 11th month we participate in a minute silence remembering those who lost their lives in honour of their country- Not only those of past wars, but those of present too. Poppies are a symbol of our remembrance at this time of year, and have been inspired by the poem <a href="http://www.arlingtoncemetery.net/flanders.htm" target="_blank"><span style="color: #1a0dab;">In Flanders Field, Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae</span></a> .</div>
<h4 class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</h4>
<h4 class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
DIY Poppy Jewellery</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This inspired me to create a quick DIY, poppy jewellery. In particular I made a poppy ring(seen in picture below), using two circles of red polymer clay, a smaller circle of black polymer clay</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and a green polymer clay leaf.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then follow the baking instructions on the clay packaging. Add your chosen findings, and voila! This can be easily manipulated to create a pendant of charm by simply adding an eye pin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sorry that there is only a few images, these were the ones on my phone, the rest are on my camera and were visits to German Cemeteries, memorials and also museum.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this post even though it's not what I would n<span style="background-color: white;">or</span>mally post! New Tutorials coming soon over the holidays! Yay!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is just another quick wire ring tutorial before my main weekend one. This tutorial will help you to create your own hearts adjustable wire ring-and its really simple and easy to do!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are a few main pieces of equipment that you will need in order to begin(1);</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
~Wire of any colour you wish (mine is a 0.6mm thickness),</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
~Round Nose Pliers,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
~Scissors</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Q1n2ZRwDFAk/U8AAU-ZzcUI/AAAAAAAAAsw/ail0zop8SXs/s640/blogger-image--1957467989.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Q1n2ZRwDFAk/U8AAU-ZzcUI/AAAAAAAAAsw/ail0zop8SXs/s200/blogger-image--1957467989.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To begin, cut approximately 15-20cm worth of wire and position your pliers about 1cm from the end(2)(this will make the one side of your first heart). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then begin to make a medium sized half loop by bending the wire around your pliers(3).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then bend the wire backwards so that it is facing the opposite direction to step3, and squeeze into place (4). </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-cg-ZcDZsSa0/U8AATYhEr0I/AAAAAAAAAso/u4TlwUeGEiU/s640/blogger-image-438825788.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-cg-ZcDZsSa0/U8AATYhEr0I/AAAAAAAAAso/u4TlwUeGEiU/s200/blogger-image-438825788.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Make another half loop to create the other bend in a heart and join the first end to the other wire with a slight twist using the pliers (5).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next take the end of the wire that you have been working on and bend it around a makeup lid or something curved(6).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Make the second heart using the previous steps(7) and cut off the excess wire.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now you have a ready-to-wear ring that looks fabulous!(8)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you enjoyed this really quick post! Keep the Creative Juices Flowing! Enjoy!x</div>
